Pens have played 100 other skaters the last two months?Malkin—best player on the ice for the Pens the last two months
For me he's always been this way for us, even in year one.lack of confidence does that to a guy.
Right after that penalty he was inadvertently tripped. But your point stands. So I am a bit confused without access to tv for this game yet.
Sens fans are booing Malkin for getting boarded?
Completely agree, I am not expecting much. A win here or points for that matter would be excellent. We have to consider also, that most teams would suffer being without their number 1 and 2 D-men, and then our number 5 in ice-time (and most dependable PK'er and crease clearer). These three guys also make up our entire starting RD group.
It really hurts.
It also hurts that our 1st line plays like a bag of nuts, winning zero battles, and that our coach wants the nr.1 PP to have neither net front presence nor anyone with size anywhere close to goal, unless Malkin goes there like when we scored. It is predictable and weak. What hurts, too, is that with these injuries, apparently Dumo and Ruh is considered our top PK duo. But with who is missing, I suppose it actually is.
Praise be upon the Geno'th and the Zuck'ed. Lest we be f***ed.
Extremely confused how it's not both going to the box. I was like how do they get a power play from this! Also, typical NHL officiating. Friedman gets popped in the nose and dropped, but gets the only penalty on the play.

It is fun listening on the radio honestly because Bourque will tell you straight up when the team is garbage unlike the local tv idiots.
He was perplexed in the first why the Pens don't set up one timers on the pp. I can't say I disagree.
Geno has plenty of velocity...thats still a bomb but he gave up waiting for taht passDo we even have guys who can one-time? Geno sort of can, but doesn't have the velocity he once did. Sid and Jake rely more on accuracy and snap/wristers, and I'm not sure what Rust does.
Only Rakell can fire one-timers from his off wing, but he either isn't on the unit or the puck isn't worked around to set him up for it.
Brian Burke agrees.Nice username…
Not.
Malkin's been an absolute soldier during the down times this year. Respect.
I don't think Rak has the willingness to do it much either. I blame Reirden for both not utilizing him properly and encouraging him. It's a waste.Do we even have guys who can one-time?
