He hasnt shown he is any better than Horachek, and definitely not better than Carlyle in his time here.
Its been 10+ games of crap hockey with no improvement. We will see how he improves through the season.

In the calendar year of 2015, it is.
Last season in Florida (only because we literally broke both of their goalies and the gaolie coach almost had to come in and they had to leave a groinless Montoya in to get killed before Luongo got out of street clothes to come back in) and this season in Columbus (because Bobrovsky is horrible).

They've sucked balls, what's your point? Neuvirth had a good stretch of games that inflated his stats, Enroth is a crap ton worse than Reimer, nevermind Bernier.

The thing about that 50 million is, he's getting it over 8 years. It not just for this year. Are you seriously that upset that this team isn't winning? Look at players like Grabner, Boyes, Parenteau etc. They'll be gone by next year, along with many others. Don't get hung up on this team. I haven't read the whole correspondence but are you really this upset?
Bozak must be wanting to switch benches tonight. He looks lost out there without Kessel or JVR. What a difference in play.
There are many improvements but you won't be seeing many wins, so if you want to check out for the season, you should do that.
Even strength play is surprisingly well, possession statistics are good, and effort is there nearly every game.
This is a team designed to suck. If you want to have a team capable of contending for the Cup for 5-7 yeas, you're going to have to watch this team suck for the next 2-3 years.

I don't buy that at all.
One of the most important pieces(Rielly) of this rebuild is currently "getting **** on"; he'll be fine and so would they.
I mentioned it last night in the PGT - 2 goals between PAP, Matthias, Boyes, Grabner and Arcobello. If that bunch aren't going to produce to the point where they're some what valuable come the deadline then they really aren't of great use to us and we may as well see a younger player instead. I'm not asking for Nylander or Kapanen(the two youngest), but Soshnikov, Leivo, even bring Panik back.

Leafs are obviously a bottom 5 team, Anahiem is not. Even then I was talking about teams who are in bottom 5, in an 82 game sample, in general.
We all knew this season was going to be painful. No one can really be shocked. We are a team that will work hard, but struggle to score goals. We don't have the depth to carry us. No real surprise.
