There is nothing more annoying than the Capitals success right now to be honest.

Dubas can do that here. But he needs to have some balls.

Sitting around here and f***ing jerking off to Mike Sullivan and the Jeff Carters of the world is not the answer.
If you don't jerk off to Mike Sullivan, you have to find a Mike Sullivan to jerk off to.

I'm honestly flabbergasted.

I thought Dubas would at least come in with some piss and vinegar about how he was treated in Toronto.

But he's really just become another butt boy to ownership trying to save his own ass. It's lame as f***, man.

This shit isn't hard. Make low risk moves that you can cycle into picks. Acquire players that are made for today's NHL.

The fact our bottom six is going to likely be composed of Nieto, Hayes, Eller, and Acciari in 2024 is f***ing embarssing just obtuse shit.

It makes me think Jim Rutherford was a genius LOL

I'd just love to hear a detailed breakdown by Dubas or FSG about what exactly it is about Sullivan that makes him a top 3 coach in their eyes. Is it the 3 seasons in a row missing the playoffs? Not winning a round since 2018? Or is it the team blowing leads on a nightly basis and looking like a structural mess?

I'm just morbidly curious about the *why* behind their insistence that Sullivan is a great coach.

Hell, get it from Penguins twitter.

I respect Matt Gajtka and he strikes me as a smart dude when it comes to hockey and the Pens.

This is the response I get when I question Sully. I don't understand it!

That's when it would be a good time for them to explain what it is that Sullivan does well as a coach that makes him better than almost any other coach in hockey.

Seriously. Explain it to me like I'm 5 years old. What does Sullivan do that makes him so good because it's certainly not team results nor how structured they play.

To me it doesn't particularly matter whether Sullivan is a good coach or not. Good coaches also have shelf lives just like bad ones do. Almost every coach reaches that point with a team where their message stops resonating and a new voice is needed. That's where the Penguins are at with Sullivan.

The only coach I've seen in recent memory who might buck that trend is Jon Cooper and if you look up his history as a hockey coach he's basically a coaching prodigy who has won at every single level he's ever coached and is most likely the best coach in the NHL by a country mile.

Like seriously look at that dude's resume. It's insane. Championships at every level.

Blow it up.

Who gives a shit anymore.

Frankly they deserve to become Arizona 2.0 once Sid and Geno retire.

f*** it. This is no longer the team I fell in love with watching 30 years ago as a young lad.

We have had no identity for years….

I love it when the Pens are so bad early on that I can skip the rest of the game. Way to save me some time, Sullivan!

I just wish the Stars had run up the score even more. The dumbasses running the franchise need a lot of that to finally wake up and smell that there is something rotten at PPG Paints Arena.

I've been teetering on whether I was going to bother watching this team anymore. I about had it after they blew a 2 goal lead (again) to the Caps, but they pulled it out with a pretty good effort in the 3rd period. I tapped out at 4-0 last night. I'm done.

Reminds me so much of the Johnston era. Just sad, pathetic, listless efforts for long stretches. Followed by a period here or a period there of solid play just to show you they are still alive. Followed by more sad, pathetic, listless stretches.

I don't think they are some Cup contender waiting to be unlocked, but they are not this bad. Nobody is this bad. You have to try to be this bad.
