can"t say this coach is not trying
Trying to force Malkin into retirement? Well yeah.
can"t say this coach is not trying
perfect Penguin...but can he PK? ah?Pod cant even score in the AHL and has questionable hockey IQ
Don't know their prospects but i'd be fine if it's a great return we get in a trade that has Preds signing Jake right away. We can even deal them Smith and they can deal us Trenin. Some have said the Predators might be a dark horse.
What else besides Kemmell and Tomasino would make you pull the trigger?
But what if the guy they replaced Ruff with is worse? Huh? HUH!?The Devils btw have the same point percentage as the Pens.
Finally some Canucks fans are starting to get it.
Is it wrong to suggest that the Devils had different expectations than the Penguins this year, though? The Devils were supposed to be one of the favorites in the east. The Penguins, though they talked about the Cup, were projected everywhere to be a fringe playoff team. The Devils btw have the same point percentage as the Pens.
I'd love to have him in Pit. L'Heureux is the heir apparent to Marchand as the most hated player in the league. Unlikely to be as prolific a scorer as Marchand, but he drives people up the wall, very greasy and has good offensive skill to boot. Was suspended nine separate times in junior (including once for jabbing a fan with his stick). Not surprisingly his game is translating just fine at the pro level (top 5 in rookie scoring and top 5 in penalties minutes league wide). If he can reel it in just a little bit and learn to pick his spots a bit better, he is going to be a very effective player.Zachary L'Heureux would be a fan favorite here. They have alot of prospects....

Which is why I wouldn't put much credence into the report that LEKK is off limits. And even if that is suggested, the market might dictate that is the price to pay. And if they don't pay it, guess what, plenty of other suitors, HOW 'BOUT THAT ONE!!!!!But what if the guy they replaced Ruff with is worse? Huh? HUH!?
This is so stupid.
"We're EXTREMELY serious about Guentzel that we're willing to give up nothing of value!"
Yeah, but we all knew after the first couple months it wasn't happening, how bout that one!!!! lollol Jesus Christ you have an answer for everything.
Dubas said we were competing for the cup this year.
The return would be immense for Jake. And I wouldn't rule him being signed out.Could an extended Guentzel land Kemell, L'Heureux, and Trenin? Pens probably have to add.

Don't worry.
We've got a plan to get younger.
That's why we are going to have Lars Eller, Noel Acciari and Erik Karlsson on our roster after the trade deadline.
Dammit Hextall!
I am interested in McDavid and the first round overall pick. But I am not willing to give more than Rust and a conditional third. But what if the guy they replaced Ruff with is worse? Huh? HUH!?

I'm calling it, now... after "evaluating the coaching staff" in the off season and finding that they are completely blameless, Lars Eller will be signed by the FO to a three year ironclad extension (that Mike Sullivan totally had no input on) and becomes the new Big Jeff Carter.
I feel like there is no doubt in my heart that Mike Sullivan will be back as coach next year.
@DesertedPenguin will also have some three paragraph reason why it makes sense and how Dubas has a plan despite signing a bunch more old guys in UFA.
I just don't want Jake in Edmonton. I want to use Jake to fortify my playoff cheering for team. I can't root against Jake THAT hard.
yet the sports media conglomerate can't do it..
