Jarry isn't the issue and I hope hextall can see that because to move him and major assets for a big name goalie and to see the same result would be beyond devastating to an already closing window that will be shut further the longer this staff stays on.

The only conclusion I can draw is the Penguins develop goalies who suck in OT.

He didn't suck when Matheson coughed up the puck and he made a timely save.

It's a shame he can't play defense as well.

The team defense was great until Jarry let in one of the softest goals you'll see this playoffs. It's not like this was unexpected; most people were concerned about whether he'd be nervous. He definitely was. Breakdowns happen, it's a game of mistakes and you can't ask your defense to perfect just to win a game. Your goalie needs to make the basic save. Jarry didn't. Why are we blaming the 'team defense' for it?

Weird how noted big game goalie MAF lost in OT.

if only we had the Vegas knights goaltending we could lose in OT and score 0 goals becuase our top winger is a Chandler Stephenson equivalent.

The only goalie that makes sense to target is Gibson, but that's a huge price to pay for a guy that you probably don't even really need.

Geno's knee is f***ed. We don't know how he's gonna look when he comes back, and his line had a vacancy before his injury. If we're spending big assets, get a significant piece to play opposite Kap on that 2nd line. Load up for one, maybe two more runs before the gas is entirely tapped out.

And if we flame out again in the 1st round, for the love of god fire Sully already. Dude should've been gone along with JR after the last Isle series.

Pens lost all the momentum after Pageau’s tying goal. Isles got their legs from there and the Pens didn’t.

MA Jarry needs to be better for game 2.

I'm not too worried right now. Jarry has shown moments of really great play so hopefully this was a one time thing.

This team is infinitely better than 2019 so I think they'll still take in 6.
