As I said D in general is horrible. This ain’t just Letang. Marino, Petts, Riikola have all been pathetic.

The one unit breaking through so far is the Simon-McCann-Horny line against their bottom 6.

That said, the expectation was that they'd come out a little flat/tired after the early AM return from Montreal and that the defensive structure would suffer some.

Perhaps they pick it up. Perhaps they don't. Perhaps Sully adjusts. I've just reached the point where I don't view a shift or a period or a game as some apocalyptic event. And, much as it pains the usual suspects who want to whine, the trend line remains good with this team.

Letang’s decisions would drive a midget’s coach crazy. I don’t see how an NHL coach doesn’t have a heart attack.

I’m sure they sometimes do. But the fact is you can’t replace him in our lineup. Too much skill and crazy ability to play big minutes.

this was to expect, I think their coach is well aware who pens are, and have some very good matchups in hands...
Their best PP QB is Rikko atm and McCann belongs no where near a PP1. PP2 sure...
neither does Rust, especially on the wall where he is playing...

this is the **** im talking about.

criticizing Letang when he has a bad game is fine, but this exaggeration of him playing like this "all the time" is so absurdly false, that it shouldnts even be paid attention to.

Sure thing bud. His mistakes happen so fast when I type “wtf Letang” most people don’t even know which mistake I’m referring to.

Maybe that’s the reason my knees are so bad?

Agreed, they'll get it together. And if they don't, then on to the next one.

It's no exaggeration, his play is going down faster than 2c hooker. I know it is hard to accept, but even a blind man can see he is sucking harder and harder as this season keeps going.
