He’s been so bad out there that when they turned that puck over for the breakaway short handed I saw the 5 on his jersey & instantly assumed it was 58 haha

I do think you are right tho @pixiesfanyo that these D pairs are stale and getting worse 1 thru 6.
I'd pair Riiko with one of Letang or Marino OR
try the Marino-Letang thing again.

I'm naturally inclined to be @Jaded-Fan 2.0 when it comes to reacting. I'm the anti @ColePens when it comes to the whole glass half full debate.

I just don't know how anyone could've watched this team and coach for a half season and be whining like it's the end of the world after a period of hockey.

It’s a mix of things right now. I still like the line, they just need to refocus. It isn’t unexpected, but still needs to change to tilt the ice. I look for Geno to support his d better and get back to smarter hockey in the second. Rust looks a little sleepy but he’s played a lot of hard minutes.

It would be a lot cooler if JR woke up & moved JJ so we wouldn’t have to keep reshuffling these shit pairing and would force a change throughout the D...

It’s a mix of things right now. I still like the line, they just need to refocus. It isn’t unexpected, but still needs to change to tilt the ice. I look for Geno to support his d better and get back to smarter hockey in the second. Rust looks a little sleepy but he’s played a lot of hard minutes.

I do too. But when the first line is getting eaten alive like that and our 4th line is literally not a real line. Kinda screws us.
