Taking a step back though, they scored two that called back.
They hit, what, 3-4 posts?
They missed on three breakaways.
And Luukkonen stood on his head.
We carried the majority of the play and outscored them 3-2. But sometimes things don't go your way and you end up with a regulation loss.

I think the best thing for the organization to do is to move the team to another city. Wait a few years and then reapply as an expansion team. Fresh start.

Smith - Eller - Puustinen as a 3rd has a ring to it. DOC in the top 6. Spreads the offense out a bit more.
Can you blame him? They play Ruhwedel endlessly even when he's absolute shit. PoJ sits for weeks and has to somehow get into a groove in a shitty defensive system and into a role that he hasn't built up towards. It's typical blind awareness by this coaching staff and usage.

3 goalposts, 3 breakaways, 2 disallowed goals, 45 shots... Luukkonen was a demon tonight and there must have been other demons there too. Usually I blame the players but not tonight. I liked what I saw from the team, Sabres just extremely lucky, that joke of an organization getting lucky against us and obviously will gift points to everybody else.
