Hard to take anything from that game. The pens were trash. So trash they are making us feel like that was a decent game.

Better game today but no result. Its now 3 wins in last 18. Gotta think Ruff goes after next game, theres a small break before we play again.

Tuesday Night should be Lindy, Nas and Recchi’s last night behind the bench. The calls to potential replacements should have been made already. After Tuesday you have a 6 day break with the ability to practice Wednesday and Thursday (pending a Covid shutdown).

they are punting the season. so just come to grips with it... they have built in excuses. again some of our problem is goaltending. and has been for years... some of it...
this team won't stop making mistakes.. they are young guys making mistakes. My biggest concern right now is Jack Hughes.... He doesn't play an NHL game. He doesn't look much different than he did his rookie year. that should concern everyone.

Pens fan. Was our worst game of this streak by far for sure. Also for some reason the Devils seem to give the Pens trouble. I know last year we had a good record vs you but usually that's an anomaly. For some reason the Devils always give the Pens fits. One of those things.

I'm tired of just hearing about the defense and the goalies (even though I talk enough about them), THIS TEAM CAN'T f***ING SCORE! We have one game where we scored more than 2 non-empty net goals on this losing streak and then one other game where we scored 3 goals including one empty netter in probably the last 12 games.
Shero talked all kinds of shit on his way through the door about fixing the offense and almost taking a shot at Lou and the old Devils way of hockey and how you can't win games scoring 2 goals. Here we are SEVEN f***in years later and STILL can't score more than 2 goals a lot of games. I'd bet we've been bottom 5-7 in goals scored EVERY year since Shero was hired (and at least the first year before he got here) outside of the Taylor Hall MVP year.
Shero didn't do enough to fix the offense, Fitz doesn't look like he's really doing a whole lot to help fix the offense. Lindy Ruff is certainly not doing a whole lot to help the offense. We can't say ''Well, the goalies allow too many goals when we open it up, so we can't open it up anymore cause we're getting destroyed in goals against and taken out of games'', no that's bullshit. The goalies still f***ing suck and still f***ing allow TOO MANY GOALS AND WE STILL CAN'T SCORE ENOUGH f***ING GOALS!

i would disagree with you.. they played fairly well.. just because you lose doesn't mean you played bad.. this was one of those games.

They must take every game against the Devils off. I can't blame them. I'd probably do the same thing if I played for an NHL team and played against a beer league team.

This is one of those games that I think fools people. Like the games early in the season we were winning. We turned the puck over like crazy tonight. Our defense was just as porous as ever. Our goalie couldn't handle simple shots (not blaming him). We generated next to no good chances. But because the other team didn't take advantage of it, it looks like we actually played ok. We just got lucky the pens freaking sucked tonight, as the pens fan above mentioned.
