All the prospects in the trade are doing really well in WBS and the 2nd round pick turned out to be Brunicke. I mean that's a pretty good return for a guy that was not going to extend in Pittsburgh.

And in all fairness, I don't really think we did a retool.

If the right offer comes along for Raks, I'd move him personally

I think Jake would of stayed, Dubas never went down that road though.

We havent done a real retool yet. We have moved around the offense, need to reset the blueline and the coach. Then Id say we have retooled.

The NHL just removed both assists on the 0-1 goal after reviewing it. I have no idea why, but they did it. Are they saying its an own goal and thus the assist should be taken away? If the Kings player did not have possession there is no reason to remove the assists.

Lots of changes were made. Dumo out, who we all hated. EK, Gryz, Graves in. Bunting in, Guentzel out.
That's why I put it on Sully, not Dubas.

I'd rather have got a bigger name prospect. Morrow, Nikishin.

I was kind of underwhelmed with the Guentzel return. I mean yeah Canes didn't have him long, but a few mediocre prospects. Which is why I won't be in favor of trading Rakell.

not sure why tomasino is constantly getting demoted off geno's line, other than a week or so after he kept getting brained and looked lost, he has legit chemistry and is the only one available with any skill to play there

I actually think they’ve looked like the better team in 7 of their last 10 games. Results haven’t been there, but they’ve been playing okay for the most part.

it’s such a joke that Nieto isn’t in the minors.
