This is why our development system is shit. Focus on what is bad not good.
Lengthy and candid? He didn’t say anything.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it
Lol
Well, the same line up for tomorrow, he does not want to change the team that won the last game, although the 4th line is obviously trash to everyone, they are major defensive liability, sucks offensively , but sticktoitivness is the way to go. Gosh I can’t wait until he is gone.Nieto sucks. 4th line should be a rotation of Glass, Gruden, Acciari and Hayes. Nieto to WBS or traded.
Gruden Glass Acciari
Hayes
lol…no changes…
In 9 years I don't know if Sullivan has ever changed the lineup after a win (other than injuries). Don't expect that 4th line to change until they go on a losing streak again
Wait really? Disregard what I said then . I guess not scratching anyone after a win only applied to Sullivan's petsI'm vaguely recalling someone being scratched after scoring two goals in a win?

Well Hoglander's an upgrade on DOC at least.Friedman says Pens interest in Hoglander is legitimate
Also says we have buyers on OC
Highlander just seems destined to be a Pen. As long as the price isn't much more than Tomasino, it's a worthwhile gamble.
JSI doesn't play good so they take out of the lineup. Instead of having him sit, they send him to WBS where he can get top pairing minutes against reduced talent to get his game back.
What about this is bad? What is the solution? To continue putting a struggling player in a position to fail?
They've won 4 straight. I can't imagine they would make any changes.
What changes should they make?
I've been low on Hoglander, but I'd accept him if it was for a 4th.Highlander just seems destined to be a Pen. As long as the price isn't much more than Tomasino, it's a worthwhile gamble.
DOC isn't really young. 27 in June means he's basically mid career for a bottom 6 guy.I'm actually quite torn on DOC. On paper and on the ice, he's exactly what we should be collecting - young, fast, some grit. But it's not translating into any production. Like in order for him to be paired with Geno and Tomasino, he needs to start putting the puck in the net.
Now last year, I pointed out that Rakell did a lot of stuff in the play that often lead to the development of the goal. He was just not one of the last two guys that touched the puck. So not every contribution produced points. So I'm starting to focus a bit more on that with DOC in recent games to determine if he's someone we should keep or move on from.
Might come down to price. If someone wants to give us a 2nd, I'll pack his bags for him. 3rd? Meh. 4th or lower, nah I'd rather keep him.
