How do you not trade a guy who's looked disinterested since game 1 of being here.

Who's overpaid for what he brings to our club.

And who somehow had interest from multiple clubs - during a season you're selling and the team has been utter dogshit all along? Literally, zero pulse all year - nothing, and I mean NOTHING - to say you want to try again next year.
I don’t recall a legit source saying there was interest in him today. Some random guy named him or patches earlier but that’s about all I can think of.

If he’s disinterested and overpaid, why would someone want him? I was hoping for NYR as well, but oh well I guess.

It's a level of shameless that I can't really comprehend that Pagnotta still has the balls to tweet shit pretending to be an insider.

I honestly don’t think Dubas could have f***ed the dog worse with this season. Not firing the entire coaching staff, and now the TDL is just the cherry on top of this shit sundae lol

Maybe he's just extraordinarily haughty and his plan all along was to tank the club so he could slowly put HIS team and HIS staff on the ice.

Why make in-season trades that seem painfully obvious when you want to ultimately trade Jake? If you're not allowed to come in and fire the coach, and Keefe isn't available - what do you do?

The real question is why Sullivan isn't fired today after that shit kicking Washington, our biggest rival, gave us yesterday. If you're so bent on Keefe, name an interim and wait. But seeing Sullivan here is a meme at this point.

This could have been parroting - but practically every trade board and talking head dropped Reilly Smith as a guy teams had their eye on. Pretty sure Weekes did.

But again, maybe it was smoke. I don't like him - never have. But I'd certainly take firing the entire coaching staff as consolation and give him another try in a new system. It's just that he was brought in to replace Zucker - and he is Zucker...specifically for Sullivan hockey - which is failure hockey. So he never stood a chance imo.

What on earth is the reason for this trade? Can anyone think of one single justification for this?
Clears a path of development for Gauthier to get more AHL games. He's not as highly touted as Blomqvist, but you still want to develop a goalie in his early 20s against something better than ECHL teams.
