This second period has almost been textbook except the lack of finish.

Which describes all season. They're towards dead last in the NHL for goals per game on average.

The effort is always there. Can't win if you can't score goals. Campbell can't have a .940%+ every game. It's not possible.

The offense is the issue this season... big time. God goaltending has kept them winning games, that's all.

Why does this team have our number?

We always have trouble with hard working fast skating teams. Hard to play with limited time and space.What's somewhat encouraging is we are handling it much better despite the score.We're getting a lot of chances, just not finishing.
