More like Tadas BluegerisSo then it would be Teddys Bluegers
It’s like these guys are in their contract years or something lolAnd apparently Lemieux was of interest to other teams as well.
The key will be his ability to maintain. I feel like every time we get a player like this, something happens that makes the candle burn twice as bright but last half as long.
It would be nice to have a guy like him play that role for a longer period of time.
We can only hopeIf he really is a true rangers fan he would pull a Naslund after this year
He’s an amazing straight line skater. Not sure about his agility, edge work, acceleration, or backwards skating. For someone who is very fast, a lot of people get behind Gilmour
unless im mistaken, Pionk-Gilmour have been on for 3 goals against in like 9 minutes. For someone who is very fast, a lot of people get behind Gilmour
He has no brain...For someone who is very fast, a lot of people get behind Gilmour
I don’t know if I buy the knee thing anymore. He has looked good the past few stretch of games (not counting this one or the last game). I just think the guy regressed like crazy. Look no further than his time in Washington.
He’s an amazing straight line skater. Not sure about his defensive awareness.

I still think we should move him to the wing and use him as a Carl Hagelin type
He's being used as a matchup guy tonight instead of Staal-Pionk and he needs to be sheltered. I don't think he's cooked but he for sure can't EVER stand stillHis playoffs were abysmal, but his trade production was on-par to his pre-trade production. But that gets overlooked because of his playoffs and the price the Caps paid.
Even his first stretch here wasn’t awful - he was essentially on a mid-40 point pace.

Just aboutSo, just for kicks, I decided to watch this on every with the sound off — to eliminate any bias due to commentary. Observation so far: a more talented team pressuring an inferior team into bone-headed desicions. Is that about right?
If there’s one defenseman who I think should be moved to the wing (besides Smith), it’s Gilmour. I’m usually 100% against this kind of stuff, but I think Gilmour’s game would translate well to that position. That, and it would also be the last chance to save his career. He has no brain...

Dude, I was gonna write that as well, but I didn’t think it would flow. You got me.There.
Yeah this is 100% right. Also if he were North American he’d get treated closer to that way too.If a center did the same thing, he'd be Messier and nobody would question him.![]()

No hes a legitimately good player.
Horrible hockey IQ and bad positioning can’t be overcome by even the best of skaters at this level. For someone who is very fast, a lot of people get behind Gilmour
Hey, Smith has been a revelation at forward. Why not Gilmour? I’m on board!
