The Penguins team today is the same exact team they've been for the past few years: they're an ultra hot and cold team that will alternate between looking like top contenders and looking like a lottery team.

This team is going to go on like a 9 game win streak in January when they look unbeatable, and you're going to have a thread about how the Penguins are unstoppable at that point. Then they'll lose in round 1 again.

Well it wasn't January, it was December.

I actually thought this was finally going to be the year we missed the playoffs and started the " process of a rebuild" while keeping our stars. The season is far from over and can still go either way, I'm just glad the boys are still having fun and that Jarry has found his game and playing like a star. Keep it up boys!!!!!!!

Pens dinged up with Petry and Zucker out. But the roster when healthy is capable of beating anyone if Jarry is really good and special teams PK which is really good and PP improve. they were not a playoff team a month ago but are playing much better as to D, gap control, puck movement ect. NJ and Islanders play a game that their offense can't bail them out. The margins are tight and that is hard to keep going for 82 games. But the TDL is always there to improve the mix.

Dear Gary,

Please stop showing us the corpse of a once exciting team on national television.

Sincerely,

Everybody

Gary needs to milk every dollar he can from Crosby/Malkin to keep his other pet project afloat while they fail to sell out Greendale Community College’s ice rink.

Well. You all are bad in the sense of “my team sucks” when it never does. They are bad in the sense “look at our awesome team” that is actually not awesome at all
Penguins on the way down ate still better than any roster ny team iced in last 20 plus years

I'm going out on a limb and saying there are some goaltending issues. Not many games can you outshoot the competition 34-24 and lose 6-0.

I think they will still make play-offs.

While Penguins still control their own fate against the Islanders(2 points behind the Islanders but have 2 games in hand while Islanders have tie breaker advantage) and Panthers(who are one point behind, same amount of games but Panthers hold tie breaker advantage) they have blown what one may consider a good advantage over all teams below them just from a few weeks ago
