Not a good night in the standing for the Pens…Wings won, Devils are winning and those are probably their top competitors for WC2…even if we win tomorrow, we can’t gain any ground in the standings…

lol wasn't Harkins just out with a concussion?

Why are they in such a hurry to force him back into the lineup?

Getting kinda comical with this guy. They lose a bet or something?

EDIT: And FFS can they flush the White experiment? Like I get it... it's the fourth line. But what is it with this team and dressing black holes like they are game changers or something?
Go back to the first GDT’s of the season. There were a few of us who saw how unnaturally the broadcast and coaching/mgmt staff were pumping his tires. We knew he was going to be here for a long time because it reminded us of the treatment ZAR, Simon, and Ruh had at the beginning. Also the treatment Kunitz and Craig Adams had at the end of their time here was very similar. It’s so forced, it’s hard not to notice it when they do it.

I should add that the Caps also won tonight so we’re back in 7th in the Metro lol

That forward corps is the hot garbage water that collects at the bottom of the dumpster in the summer.
The worst part about this is that a dipshit like Dan Bylsma would have a big injury like that and actually do the right things with the roster to get production and wins. Mike Sullivan has his first big injury and you'd think this roster was missing it's entire top 6.

You don't sounds happy bahaha and they are looking to replace Puuly already. I'm at a loss for words.
Harkins-White: Has there been a better 4th line pair since Glass-Adams? Reinventing professional hockey one shift at a time lol…add in Carter, and it’s a veritable smorgasbord of suck…enjoy it while it lasts folks

Dont think I have ever seen more of a nothing line than Harkins-Carter-White. Almost makes me miss Gladdams. Sully must be so excited to play an absolutely useless 4th line

The lineup is irrelevant at this point. Excepting the goaltending and the core, our younger players would perform better elsewhere and our older players wouldn’t leave the press box.

It’s no secret that we can’t coach young talent and it’s no secret that we keep Jeff Carter because of intangibles that other players would develop quickly had they been given more opportunity to do so.

If I’m any of the bottom nine minus Malkin I’d be looking for opportunities elsewhere.

He thinks they’re so awesome but they’ve basically been the only minus forwards for us all year. The guy is delusional but at the same time, there is a responsibility for Kyle to address those delusions so the team can be better.

Agreed. Harkins and White should be paired with someone with some youth and wheels to at least have a shred of a scoring threat.

I get that we have a few injuries, but Jeff Carter is overused at this point on special teams and he’s not a fit at all for the new guys we have to play on our bottom six. Embrace the speed and encourage them to play a responsible but uptempo 200 foot game to be a change of pace from the Crosby and Malkin lines.

I can live with a few mistakes fron our fourth line if they could at least wear out the opposition players or be an occasional scoring threat.

Hell if I were Malkin I'd be looking for opportunities elsewhere, too.

I mean he won't because he's who he is. But I would. Maybe then he could even play with a linemate or two that actually helps. That would be novel.

It's so weird that they are scratching Pulju. I wonder if he is hurt.

I'm fine with Harkins being up given Poulin, Nieto, and Jake's injuries. But, why is Colin White up?

Clearly Mike Sullivan and Ron Hex... er... Kyle Dubas aren't on the same page.

Although I've been informed multiple times that the GM rules the roster with an iron fist and poor Mikey just sits there polishing his Beanpot Tom Brady award and shrugging his shoulders innocently so there's that.
