I think the bigger problem with the powerplay are (not in order)

1. Faceoffs
2. Inability of the pointmen to handle the puck. Way too many times we (rarely) win the faceoff back or pass back to them and they fumble it and it goes out of the zone and just like that 30 seconds is gone
3. Zone entries.

4. 0 movement......easy to defend when you are a bunch of sears mannequins

4. Lack of movement when they actually do set up in the zone with 30 secs left in the PP. Just watch Stepan. He sets up a beach chair and makes a sand castle by the far board. Couldn't be bothered to move his feet.

LOL at those who believe we're winning this. We're an 0 for so far in even looking an NHL team when down in the 3rd. The team can't play from behind in the 3rd period.

I thought he was in the first period. He wasn't in that period. He was terrible. About as bad as your absurd assumption that I somehow thought his play was fine that period without saying it.

But you know. When you assume . . .

The funny thing is that you think he was fine in the first period. Accomplishing nothing, being unable to make or take a pass, consistently being muscled off the puck now equals fine in bizarro world.

So guys..Murphy's Law laying it's hammer hard on this team. No one to blame but themselves, though. NOW they're facing adversity for real. NOW is the time to rise to the occasion. This is a great oppurtunity to kick some ass. Nothing to lose.

And, it's totally doable. Kick some ****ing Penguin ass in the third!!

Here we go boys.....LGR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...make it happen...were all with ya...the past is forgotten....lets start a new history ...of 3 goals...

This sucks but we are only down a goal with a period of hockey left

Might as well but that on their jersey. It's always "we're only down xxx" with this dumb team.

There is no reason this team should be playing this bad right now.

I mean Gaborik is a perfect example. Completely unappreciated here. Half the fan base wanted his head. He gets traded and now everyone wants him back. We didn't deserve Gaborik. If we couldn't support him at his worst (20is goal scorer in 60ish games) then we didn't deserve him at his best. Same goes for Hank, we don't deserve him if all it takes is 10 bad games to turn on him.

Fault all on Nash, G, McD, and Hank on that goal. In that order.

If Scott Arniel still has a job when this season ends, whenever that may be, I... I.... I don't know.

Hank stopped the breakaway.

Like a Mensa meeting around here.
