Haha, this board sometimes. I tell you.

2nd straight game this team has fought back to tie up a game late in the 3rd. Resilience. It's a mindset. We may not have won today but its a step in the right direction.

Henrik looked much better today. Tonight there looked to be some chemistry between our lines. Poo is a spare forward. That's all he should be. Why is Asham up? Wish Haley wasn't injured, at least he'd bring more energy. More of a team mentality.

Defense was better. DZ with that mental lapse on the 3rd goal. It's ok. I can live with those mistakes if he's playing like he was today. More physical. Thinking shot first. Good possession in the offensive zone. Keep playing like that DZ and you'll stick on this team.

Moore played better tonight. Falk has been consistently solid for a bottom pairing guy. Only problem I have is Girardi lost his stones. He used to lay the lumber if someone hit hank or messed with him. Not anymore. :(

I'm not necessarily happy, but at least we got a point.

Yes putting them closer to moving down in the draft rather than up, which is where this team needs to go. Do you seriously want them to squeak in the playoffs and get blown out in the first round?

Just a very soft team. No fight. Pouliot showed some, but no one else. Pouliot was on the bottom of the pile with 2 players. No one else jumps in. Major problems.

My favorite part of the game, no exaggeration.

But we lost. This team just doesnt have it.

People here are too down on this effort. Fleurey has let up more than 2 goals like 4 times this year in his 30 starts.I know its an "AHL team" but that team has won 9 of their last 10. This is a very good team the Rangers played and they did a lot better than most expected. There was bad plays and bad luck still but Ill take this as a positive.....hope they can build off it.

Crosby was very noticeable, again. I don't think I've ever seen a Pens game where that guy was dogging it, or where he was invisible.

If the Rangers had a player who even brought half the consistency he does...

Oh, but we have Rick Nash who gets to float around on every powerplay and take perimeter shots. Yay!

Yeah ok. What is Callahan then? What is Nash? Richards has played better than both of them this year. Our team would suck even more without him this year

Hey, I never said those guys have played well. When I said "sell, sell, sell" in my first post, Cally was one of the guys I was considering.

Nash... I dunno, he's such a legit talent and when his intensity is on he is SO good. I wonder if he isn't just a victim of the general malaise. That said, I'd consider moving him too if we got the right offer.

I forgot how optimism is taken around here. Can't say a damn thing without getting called out on it.

I share the sentiment that this is probably my least favorite team......ever lol.

The personnel. The way they're using the personnel. Change it up if it's not working. All night long, the top line wasn't working. Throw Zucc on the top line, Nash on the second line. You get a competent fresh top line and a second line with a Rick Nash on it. Richards and Moore before Stepan in the shootout baffles me. Richards hasn't made a single good move in the shootout in a Rangers uniform.

I'm okay with giving the Penguins credit. They have proven to have risen up to the occasion lately, and that is fact, emotion left out of the equation.

As people have said, this Rangers team really has no balls. If you have balls, it helps your game. The team just does not have that. It is easy to see that, I believe.

You're forgetting we had to fight back against a massively depleted Pens team and a lottery team in Calgary. Sure they were more resilient, but it should have never come down to that. Bottom line was we lost the game tonight. I believe it was Bill Parcells who said "moral victories are for losers."

I agree. I say get rid of all 3. Buy Richards out, trade Nash and trade Callahan. Do people really think this team will go far? Way too much dead weight, they suck the emotion out of the fans.
