Gonna have to catch a few Pens games this year, Karlsson is playing off the scale right now. He was worth the price of admission by himself last year (kinda).
It will be interesting to see how his ability to create will mesh with other generational-level hockey sense players, there will be some ridiculous highlights, I suspect.
His zone entry game and elusiveness at the blueline might legitimately be at the best level of his career as well.
Honestly it probably only takes a half competent partner and a bit of forward defensive support to eliminate his defensive liabilities. The Sharks were utterly dreadful in those categories, he's been dragging around marginal NHLers since his first season in SJ with Brendan Dillon, which was a + season.
