I thought Kakko played solid, physical, mistake free hockey. Very very good game from him, when the stakes are high. Even saw him in some scrums. Dude is in tune for playoff hockey. Great to see.

Glad to see we’re not hearing much from the disappointingly large contingent of posters that were throwing in the white flag after Tuesday.

The team did what they had to do tonight. Still not excuse not to win this series even as the injuries mount. PIT has it worse for sure and really don’t have much to offer after their top line.

Also, agree with the “Shesty needs to stop diving” crowd. We like to pile on Stutzle for being a bitch. Things are a little different for a keeper, but there is zero reason for the best goalie in the world to play that way. Fatso was an egregious flopper and I hated him for it. Not going to turn a blind eye because he’s our guy.

Hoping Motte starts skating soon to offset the loss of Goodrow.

Win the next one and get back in the driver’s seat.

Both teams have key guys out. Pitt does not have it any worse than us especially if they get Jarry or DeSmith back next game. We have Goodrow, Motte, and Lindgren out.

At least Panarin makes plays with the puck. And that's why he ended up with 3 points.

Outside of that shorty during Game 1, Zibby has been bad. He even't attempted that patented one-timer of his twice on the same power play and nothing.

I'll give him props for that play in the 1st, but he can't be ghosting like he currently is.

I feel like I saw him at one point in Game 1 block a shot and looked like it stung him. Idk if that was it or not though.

Blocked a shot in game 1. Finished the game but had 1 shift in the third ot and was limping pretty badly after the game. For GG to say he is week to week makes me think broken foot and he’ll be out a while.
