Wilson has been a total non factor vs us this year. How about the following game where the entire team stood up and fought. Wonder why that was.
If you think for one minute that a sociopath like Wilson is scared to hit anyone because a guy that plays 3 mediocre shifts a game is on the bench then I won't say it what I think of your response
I want good hockey players playing, Reaves is done as a player. The team can more than handle themselves.
That hit was happening if Probert-Kocur-Domi was the 4th line.
Whereas I really think it's best that both teams continue to win. taking the foot off the pedal cannot be a good thing. it's probably really just going to come down to the head-to-head with Carolina both games at Madison Square garden. Carolina lost last night and now we're only two points behind with no games in hand. first place is in our hands, whether we like it or not. I like it.I always take great amounts of joy when we beat the pens. That's for damn sure. I still don't think we steamroll them in the playoffs. I'd say six games at minimum if we bring our best game. It's a veteran group that knows how to handle themselves in the post-season.
I cannot f***ing stand Carolina, but I've never wanted them to win a game so badly before. I think clinching will take the pressure off the young guys. Hopefully they help us out tonight and win.
This is what I really want to see. If these three kids can gel together and grow together, no telling what the future holds. In fact, they could possibly be off first line in three or four years.Meh, I think if the kid line is playing well that Gallant is going to use them a normal amount. I don't see him as automatically sitting the kids when things get tight a la Quinn. He's ridden Chytil and Lafreniere late in games lately with no hesitation. Maybe if it's late defending a lead he slots Goodrow in for one of them but I don't see Gallant wanting to do anything other than roll all 4 lines as much as he can.
I was wondering if Gallant was going to slot Kakko back onto line 1, considering that's where he was for 20+ games when he got hurt, but with how well Vatrano has played there I don't think you can take him off unless he starts to slow down.
Laf-Chytil-Kakko has the makings of a good line with complementary playing styles so I think it makes the most sense to try when Kakko is ready.
It's derogatory and has been used that way by opposing fans for a long time. Is there any context where a "rag" is a good thing?Same here.
Been using and referring to them in that manner for close to 40 years. I don't think it was coined by a devils fan, especially not in the early 80's
Like when bad means good. Back in the 80's saying something was bad was a good think. It's derogatory and has been used that way by opposing fans for a long time. Is there any context where a "rag" is a good thing?
NYR is one less letter than “Rags”.I personally don't care because most fans don't realize it's supposed to be derogatory (Rags). I got a little annoyed this time just because of the poster's comments in general but in general I think Rangers fans are way too sensitive about it. It's like if Flyers fans made up Pens and we used thinking it was just short for Penguins. Sure a rag even not in the manner used by Devils fans is less flattering than Pens, but what else would you call the Rangers for short? The Rans?

No, I don't think that's happening here.Like when bad means good. Back in the 80's saying something was bad was a good think.
Similarly when someone refers to something as dank. To me that's not good. To others a different meaning
