I never liked the idea that single-game results which are half notch above throwing a dart are what "matters" and how the game was played doesn't.

If we continue to play like that, we will win this series.

First a 3 OT loss with an amazing Shesty effort, then tonight with a 3 goal comeback.

Reminds me of the LA Kings series in that way. Demoralizing losses.

I really need to apologize to Marc Staal because while Staal is and was awful, he is a 100x better than Patrik Nemeth.

To be fair, we also don't play Nemeth 25 minutes in playoff games

When it's 4-4 after coming back to tie it everything that happened before is erased. It's a new game in the 3rd and Georgiev let up a deflating softie. The team played like shit after that. Georgiev literally deflated the entire team.

Nemeth is the worst Rangers defenseman in a long time, Georgie lost the game with the soft goal, but that said, it wasn't a game the Rangers deserved to win anyway, really only putting together one good period, so just take the loss and hope they get it together in Game 4.

Pens top line barely showed up but they still put 7 on us.

Goalie/reffing aside (and it pains to say it) they played better, rode their luck and all with a bush league tender in net.

We learn from this and do better next game

BTW, that third period looked horrible only because Georgiev gave up a patented GARBAGE Georgiev goal. As soon as Pittsburgh took the lead the team was done. f*** you Georgiev. I hope you f***ing become a dishwasher in McDonald's after the season.
