I'm not condoning playing dirty or against the rules, but this team needs to show a backbone and send a message with some physical play. They're just rolling over on their backs and allowing the Sharks to walk all over them.

Kings winning 4 of 5 is a very, very tall order.

Yeah cause what they are doing now is working really well right? It's more than just Pearson. It moves Toffoli over to his natural spot on right wing. It keeps King/Clifford/Nolan/Lewis the hell off the 2nd line. It hides Richards on the 4th line. But I guess if Pearson wouldn't make a difference this series was over before it began eh?

No use even discussing this when it comes to Sutter's garbage decisions this year. The second he put Mike Richards on the ice to start game 1 it told everyone that Sutter was going with his veterans. Look deeper into the numbers folks, Mike Richards was statistically the worst player on the Kings from December 1st on, no one wanted to acknowledge this just using the "He will show up for the playoffs" cliche. There was simply no excuse for Mike Richards to be on the 2nd line and matching up against other teams top lines, in fact it was even a stretch to say he should have been in the lineup. But there was no way in Sutter's world that he was going with Pearson-Carter-Toffoli.

Sutter has lost me a lot this series, I think this is about a poor a coaching job through two games that I have ever seen. How when your dressing 7 defenseman do you let Matt Greene end up a -4, that is just terrible terrible coaching.

I'm about to say series over. Every year the Kings do just enough to get in the playoffs then flip a magical switch. They obviously didn't flip that switch this year.
