Nolan should crush Hertl and then turtle the proceeding fight. Next time Hertl is on the ice, Brown crushes him (all clean and legal hits btw). Sharks are ****ing done after that and their fanbase will melt down. It will be beautiful.

It may have been mentioned, but not having to have a brutal series against the blues prior to facing the sharks will make a huge difference. I honestly think if the kings show up to play they take the series in 5.

I completely forgot that the Sharks had swept the Canucks and had a relatively easy first round last year.

I like Stoll and Brown together. Stoll seems to always be valuable in the playoffs. Hopefully Brown finally shows up.
The 4th line is weaker than I like, but in playoffs benches get shortened. If we can roll 3 lines and put the 4th out there for a protected shift the odd time than awesome

I'm actually a fan of that 3rd line. That is a perfect LA Kings playoff hockey line. Cycle, forecheck, hit and if the Kings want to win, that line needs to score a few goals.

Stoll and Brown, sure. But King works better with that style than Toffoli imo. Those three are great at skating north-south and causing havoc and King was a better compliment to that than Toffoli. Though I'd be happy to be wrong and it opens up space for him instead. And there will be very little protection for that 4th line in San Jose.

Not sure I like moving Richards up to 2C immediately either but hey I'm going to defer to Sutter here as it seems like he knows something we do not

Richards does but it doesn't go real well either if you haven't noticed. That's a bigger mismatch that carter vs. thornton.

Actually I'm a student at Georgia Tech, and we're two weeks away from finals week.

I won't be in bed before 3 anyway for about the first two rounds...


As a Canes fan, I'm more accustomed to ineptitude, and painful sarcasm to make up for that ineptitude. Is something based on Patrick O'Sullivan or JMFJ off-limits and poor form?

If so I can do something with Williams hoisting the Cup with both the Canes and the Kings. That'd be fun.
