Correct. Move him before he becomes a 30-40 point guy. Ideally package him with Ullmark but he might block that. Hes brutal in the playoffs and couldn't break through as a first liner this year.

Excellent. He should be outstanding value in a trade for someone who has a pulse when the postseason rolls around
Jordan Caron has more Bruins playoff goals in less games than Zacha.

I don't care about some "post-season pulse" or whatever that means. But if they want to move on from him there will be plenty of suitors.
Much rather pay DeBrusk $1.25M more than Zacha and move Zacha for picks.

Who cares what he does on the regular season if he falls flat on his face in the postseason?
He has been absolutely god awful. Would use his money on Bertuzzi or Domi for criikes sake.

That sounds like something they should consider. Even with an Ullmark deal I feel they really only have enough cap space to add one bigger name UFA forward (or keep their own in Debrusk). Move Zacha and they might have room to add two.

Noone is giving up a 1 C for this guy. Just don't lose the trade. Part of the problem with the modern NHL and especially the Bruins is middle of the pack players hang around too long. Gryzlyk for example is 30 and has only been in one system. Zacha will benefit as well from a new team.
I'm not arguing with you, but just for clarity sake I did say that he could be included as part of a package for a number one.
there is a #1 center in Vancouver that needs a contract next season and all he costs is dollars! Zacha, Coyle, and Geekie although likeable are where awesome scoring chances to go die!

He fits the Leafs criteria to a tee, skilled guy who produces in the regular season then disappears in the playoffs.
How do you not produce 1 goal playing with Krejci or Pastrnak over 18 games?

He was being spanked on the Faceoffs and coverage down low. They are trying to mitigate the damage he does by not showing up in the playoffs. Him on LW gives them a chance if he decides to score one day.
