I'm not sure you can ask much more from Pavel Zacha TBH. He wasn't even playing center last year. It's a position he CAN play, but one he isn't really used to. He's doing well for what he is. No one should have expected much more of the guy considering just how deep the water we threw him into was.The guy need to step up big time he s almost useless since start of the PO...look s alergic to the intensity

This is not a Cup or Bust year. Let's see where the ride takes us and circle back to the Center position when we can actually do something about it.
Frankly I'm a bit surprised we're here. Zacha and Coyle played a large role in why we're still a playoff team -- if only by not being the absolute black holes they could have been.
Not when he's playing at a position he's not used to and matched up against the best defenses on the opposing team, no.Not sure you can ask much more from a guy who has 0 goals in 20 career playoff games?

If you expect Playoff Krejci out of Pavel Zacha and he doesn't deliver it, who's the fool, Zacha or you?
We're lucky Zacha hasn't also been a liability on defense.
Whuh? These are professional hockey players we’re talking about right? Just checking. Not when he's playing at a position he's not used to and matched up against the best defenses on the opposing team, no.

And a nice assist tonight.Didn’t he have 2 points in game 1?

The problem is that he’s looking for Pasta all the time instead of shooting or playing for himself. Shoot….shoot….shoot!The lack of goals is alarming. I think the effort level is fine and he's playing a sound two way game. But if he's going to be in the top 2 center hierarchy all season long, not scoring a goal over a significant number of games isn't going to inspire confidence in the eyes of the decision makers for the team that he's the guy moving forward. He needs to step up.
And now the rest of the story:
16 playoff games for Boston 0-11-11 +3
In those same 16 games, the likes of Marchand, Pasta, Coyle, Debrusk and McAvoy are all minus players.
Eye test says Zacha is playing hurt. He had the best faceoff winning % in the regular season for the B's and he's not even taking faceoffs now.
Has Pasta been bad because of Zacha? Which one has the puck more often?
