The last 40 in Tampa wasn’t good, and the third in Pitt yesterday, but that felt like sitting back.

Outside of minor blip, I’m really impressed for what they did this past week.

Lindgren injury would be tough, he’s been much better recently. But winning 4 of 5 in 7 days against teams who are fighting for every point is a nice dress rehearsal for the playoffs.

Witnessed a Ryan Lindgren primary assist in person. Not many human beings can say that

The Lindgren injury along with Trouba’s injury could end up being a blessing in disguise. The team will need to work towards a more defensive mentality and it will help build experience with their depth, Jones and Ruwehdl. It’s not perfect but it may actually help for a long playoff run.

Those guys should also return fully rested.

Miller was everywhere today. Did a little of everything.

Jones was buzzing today. Up in the play, solid in his own zone, and just generating a ton.

Last goes to Lindgren. You know it is serious when he can't put any weight on it. Great pass to Cuylle. The large majority of the board, myself included, shit all over him, but I never see a lack of effort in his game. He deserves some recognition for that.

They desperately need his offense. The playoffs last year featured a ton of blowouts and teams piling on goals to win games. Kakko/Laf goals in the 3rd today both came during sustained offensive zone shifts with Jones out there

Miller one of the three stars of the game, two games in a row now.

I think this pairing will get much better as time goes on but...

....Tuba has to come back sometime and the Captain goes where he wants in the lineup.
