The worst part about Hughes becoming GM is now Habs fans think every player he represented wants to play there .... especially the French Canadian ones

The only reason Letang would sign there is if hes purely lookin for $$$$... cause he ain't winning another cup there

My gut says retiring, my heart says 1-2 more with the Bruins, basic logic says it won’t be a bottom feeders. Sorry Habs and Sabres, ain’t happening. And that’s not a dig. We’ll be joining you shortly 😒

He already came out and said it's Boston or retirement, which could always be a farce but I don't see Patrice doing Boston dirty like that unless they completely insult him with an offer like league minimum. I'd guess 2x6 or something of the like.

Wouldn't have expected him to even consider the Sabres anyway. I couldn't picture him as anything but a Bruin at this point. Don't believe any Sabres fans would take offense that Bergeron wouldn't want to play there, I sure don't.

Bergeron to MTL is the dumbest rumor out there, lol. Boston or retirement.
It's just wishful thinking from those of us who consider the Bruins a rival. I still think retirement is better but there is a certain sick humor in Bergeron being a Hab. 0 chance it happens but a great HF what if.

Patrice Bergeron is a Quebecer but he's not a Montreal guy. He's from outside of Quebec City and was a Nordiques fan growing up, so I don't think he falls into the Canadiens orbit.
