Habs fans assume every French Canadian grew up idolizing their team and are dying to play for them.
Bruins stealing our french Canadian players with great passion for the game. First Bourque now Bergeron. What you fellows learn from all those playoff upsets over the years?

Why would Bergeron want to sign with the worst team in the NH?, And you seem to forget that Shane Wright will be 100% Montreals 2C not Bergeron.

Bergeron and Letang are coming home!
Letang perhaps, Bergeron No.

Bergeron to MTL is the dumbest rumor out there, lol. Boston or retirement.
I think exactly like you.
But if Bergeron decide to play for an other team, It will be a team who can have a real chance to win the cup.
If we go with that argument three team are real contender next year Florida, Colorado and Tampa bay. With the cap the only team who have space next year will be Colorado. Kadri and burakovsky leave and makes space of 9.4 M. But I really think it will be Boston or retirement.

Replace TBL with Carolina… Berg would be a huge add there

habs fans are gaslighting. He's not going to play for another franchise ever. This isn't the story of an over-the-hill vet who isn't wanted by his team and is still looking to play; it's Boston or retirement. I get that he wants to go home and be closer to family, but he wouldn't dare sign with a hated rival. He's also close to 3 hours from montreal in Ancienne-Lorette ;)

New York Rangers, with Alexis Lafrenier on his left and Sammy Blais on his right.

I dont think he will end up in Mtl, but imagine him taking Wright and Suzuki under his wing - two Cs that are often compared to him to boot. The habs need a 2C and veteran leadership, but i dont think Bergeron is going to go to a bottom ranking team

Yeah well Bergeron isn't happening, it's either one more year in Boston or retirement.

Bergeron Birthplace is Ancienne Lorette really near of Quebec City.
When he was young he learn to hate the Montreal Canadiens and as a Bruins players his hate just continue.
