I can’t for the life of me understand why so many people think the NHL is in the Bruins’ pocket. The Bruins have won the Stanley Cup exactly ONCE in the last FIFTY (50) years! Given how stunningly the Bruins underachieve and crap-out on the regular, they could use some help.

One Cup in fifty years under this current ownership. Three Cups since BEFORE Pearl Harbor (1970; 1972; 2011).

Yeah. The NHL is really helping the Bruins win a shit-ton of championships.

I don't know... seems like Bergeron gave up and just quit if you ask me... he's the reigning Selke trophy winnier, the league shouldn't let somebody retire who just won a major trophy like that. Players should play until the wheels start falling off. Now we'll never know if bergeron could've won a 7th or even 8th Selke trophy...
Thank God he doesnt have to report to you.

"dear league i would like to retire after recently winning another individual award I have won several of.

League "Nope not acceptable!"

Do you have any idea how dumb that sounds?
