I could see Nolan/Lafontaine being angry about trading Ott but putting a job on the line for that seems like a silly move.

I bet lafontaine slept with Murray's girl and then she drove her car off a cliff because it was so foggy and while they were mourning she walked in, still alive after all, and told them the baby wasn't either of theirs. The father is actually Tom Golisano and he wants custody of the baby and the Sabres as long as he doesn't have to pay any taxes.

Why else would reporters be tweeting something is up?

People disagreeing about extremely important decisions and fighting for what they believe is best for the organization is not a big deal to me.

This isn't a soap opera. If there are problems they will be resolved. All of the people involved are known to be class individuals. Either we everything we thought we knew is false, or this is isn't as catastrophic as everyone is assuming.

Patrick Michael LaFontaine (born February 22, 1965) is an American former ice hockey center in the National Hockey League (NHL) who spent his entire career playing for the league's New York State-based teams; LaFontaine played for the New York Islanders from 1983 until 1991, the Buffalo Sabres from 1991 until 1997, and the New York Rangers from 1997 until his retirement in 1998, scoring 468 goals and 1,013 points along the way before his career was ended by concussions. His 1.17 points per game (1,013 points over 865 games) is the best among American-born ice hockey players, active or retired. LaFontaine formly served as an executive to the Buffalo Sabres' as the President of Hockey Operations. On March 1st, 2014, LaFontaine resigned from his position with the Sabres, citing irreconcilable differences over the ghastly third jerseys and how to dispose of them.

Maybe Murray heard Drew Stafford warming up and said "What the hell are we about to subject our fans to?" Tried to pull the plug and then Stafford's biggest fan as a musician (Pat LaFontaine) threatened to quit if Murray doesn't let him play (guitar).

Random side-fact about Stafford. That guitar of his that he's playing is kinda embarrassing. It's a $250'ish Epiphone...something you give your 14 year old to hedge your bets if they never play. Drew's a multi-millionaire...he should play something...better, lol
