You have to agree, it's good to have Nash in the lineup :)

Alright, the Habs should be out of gas soon, then we're on a path for another win.

Anyone else concerned that Nash still hasn't scored on a starting goaltender :sarcasm:

SARCASM.

Happy to see him scoring some goals.

Observations:

1. Henrik is just incredible.

2. Montreal is going to be allowed to get away with anything short of something that could injure a Ranger.

3. Having a lead after that period is HUGE!

4. Emrick and Olczyk are just plain brutal. Really getting tired of Emrick's screeching any time a Canadien has a shot from the point. Also getting tired of his sounding like his dog died when the Rangers score. Since when does Emelin start with a "Y"?

I think it actually does in Russian. Like a "Ye" or something.

RANGERS! Weathering the storm, coming out with a lead. Lundqvist looks like the best in the world, go figure.

Did a prince kiss Nash and wake him up? Boy I hope so. Could you imagine if he actually started putting up goals!

Expect a MUCH better looking period. Montreal can't possibly go any harder, they are turned up to 11. If anything that goal should deflate them. They threw everything at Hank and he stood tall, sans fluke goal, which was right away returned with a fluke goal.

LETS GO RANGERS!

I don't think that Montreal will be able to sustain that energy through 3 periods... they were already slowing a bit by the last 5 minutes of the first.

Anyway, that period was big. Took a huge punch and still lead. Hopefully we regroup. But it's the 2nd period on the road, not holding my breath. I think we'll need Hank to steal this one.

crickets.....

Just the way we like it. Shut them up.

Stepan made one pass to Kreider, who fed it to Nash for the goal. Making one 15 foot pass doesn't absolve him from not having the ability to skate, hustle, make his own space, and put quality shots on goal.

I expect more out of him, I find it hard to see someone in the NHL with his skating ability. For the player he was sold/brought up to us as, he has to be better than this.
