I stated if we "survived" this period, we'd win the game. To be up one, :yo: gravy. For that goal to by from Rick Nash? chicken fried steak!

Lundqvist is the difference maker. I agree. It can easily be 3-2 or 4-2 MTL right now. Chances are not even remotely close. One of Henrik's best periods.

Absolutely. This is why we pay him the big bucks, though. We knew this was going to happen. So glad he came up HUGE for us. A shame that fluke goal got by him, but whatchu gonna do. Lights out so far.

Being up 2-1 after that period is HUGE. Canadiens gave it EVERYTHING they had and still don't have the lead.

Bury them.

They're so scared of kreider's speed and I'm giddy like a school girl. Slats don't be stupid is kreider long term low now... No more bridge deal tht lets him prove he's worth even more

But seriously, Derek Stepan…can you at least move your ****ing feet and attempt to make an effort? What gives…you are the weakest, softest NHL player I have ever seen. Wake the **** up.

Honestly, I don't think that is a bad road period. You had to know the Habs were going to come out hard being down 1-0. A lot of those turnovers were forced by the Habs aggressive play, which slowed down towards the end of the period. The Rangers, and mostly Hank, weathered the storm and came out ahead. I don't think you can ask for much more from that period.
