Quenneville might not decide until the offseason when there are other jobs open. He will be able to pick where he wants to go.you are going let q get away and you are going regret it.

Moving Jake for B assets doesn’t scream “win now.” He’s locked up. There’s no rush. Moving him before you even sign a Panarin type, who is far from a safe bet to even sign, doesn’t seem very prudent either!
Reality is they could fit both. That’s what makes them a much better team.
Fletcher was hired right as Lemaire left, so his first job was to hire a coach. Richards didn't end up being a good hire, but the problems with those 2009-2011 Wild teams went waaay beyond coaching. Yeo ended up replacing Richards largely because of his success with the Wild's AHL affiliate, the idea being that he'd do well with the young players the Wild wanted to start feeding onto the NHL team over the next 3-5 years.
The bigger take-away with Fletcher regarding coaches is that he's not necessarily trigger-happy about it, but he'll make a change if a change needs to be made. Even if it makes him look bad. I have no idea what to make of Hakstol, but I'd bet on him getting some sort of evaluation period and the eventual boot. Torchetti did well as an interim coach when Yeo was fired and was given the opportunity to interview over the summer, but a decent half-season didn't buy him the job. I'd expect a similar situation here.
which im afraid we might be stuck with mike yeo.
how do you know? did he say wants to coach now?
if he does, another team will take him
Relax man. Enjoy life and the new flyers that are coming our way LOL.If he goes elsewhere then so what?
You carry on like Joel Quennville is the only capable hockey coach in the world.
Did he invent the game?

Minny has a very mediocre prospect pool, and as an organization mediocrity was a staple for all of Fletcher’s years there.
Making the playoffs with no chance in hell at every winning more than a round or two.
Mother ****ing sigh.
It's not official, just a leaked report. No word on the press conference? Maybe they getting Q in to town!
So it sounds like Hak is staying?
No, but he perfected it. I've been an advocate for Q's assistant Kevin Dineen, who would be a good option too, if Q isn't available. If he goes elsewhere then so what?

You can bet your ass Dave Scott pushed for him.
“He’s got experience, and isn’t afraid at making moves, he’s our man!”
This organization is the Leafs before the modern day Renaissance. Without a real purge of the old guard - the more that changes, the more things stay the same.
Uh, the "renaissance" Leafs hired Loony Lou to be their GM.
