Habs are going into the third period against the best third period team in the NHL, with a score of 0-0.

Jesus Christ.

Habs due for being shutout...3.86 goals/game is unsustainable and bound to drop.

Our only hope Price holding it long enough for Habs to get some puck luck.

Might not be bad for the game to be 0-0 in the third, that should keep the habs on their toes instead of sitting on a 3 goal lead and losing it in 10 mins.

I don't feel good going into a 3rd period against boston without a lead

I feel better. We've had a lead going into every 3rd period in these playoffs except game 1. Outscored 16-8 in third periods in the playoffs but we were winning on all but one of those occasions. We did better in the reg. season with close defensive games in the 3rd than with leads LOL. We'll be fine. Why isn't anyone here noticing Boston has no goals too? That's gotta count for something.

Tight game. I feel the B's have the territorial advantage but that we're ultimately getting the better chances off the transition. B's brought their A game here. Nice to see we're matching them.

this might be a good thing for us, we won't sit back in the third as we have all series long, because we can't.

feeling a goal from Patches, finally. and the roof of the Bell ending up in the St. Lawrence

Nice pass from Vanek to his imaginary friend.:help:

The puck bounced or he shoots, wheres the d men? and the other five grade a scoring chances he created so far, three or four to Bournival, in this game or the two nice defensive plays in the high slot that stopped shots on goal?

Well....Bruins have a great 3rd period team 'cause they love coming back from behind and the opposition can't stop them. Now.....they might actually have to be more careful and probably more nervous....make a mistake and we capitalize and it could be over.

We can do this.

Boston is taking this one. Shutout for Rask. No doubt. They've clamped down on their errors.

Habs have gotten more scoring chances this game. What are you talking about ?

Edit : yes Rask will get a shutout anyway

Feeling optimistic. Habs had a much better second. Desharnais and Pacioretty need to get their head's out of their ass

I'm not going to lie, I'm as nervous as I've ever been. Bruins have dominated the third period all series. Next goal probably wins it. Can't believe Pacioretty missed that chance. I'm going to stick to my guns and say Bourque will score. Common boys, a win tonight would be HUGE. GHG.
