Post-Game Talk: Panthers trade for Marchand, inherit Bostons choking ability lose 3-2.

I think this can be called a ”nightmare” loss

2-0 lead in the 3rd and lose in regular time

This year is an absolute must to avoid Tampa in the 1st round and Toronto is right there to win the division

It’s this or next season that has the best chance

Tampa will be weaker next season, but I highly doubt the Metro will ever be this bad again

Personally I think it's too soon to proclaim Jones as the better defenseman unless you've watched him consistently on Chicago. He's looked good but it's only been a few games.


The main reason I'd pick Jones over Ekblad is the ability to stay healthy, which in turn will likely cause him to age better as a player.

But at their best? I don't think there's a huge difference between the two. They've been similar statistically over the past couple of years besides Ekblad's 2023-24 regular season. Ekblad was on the much better team, but that's somewhat offset by Jones playing more minutes throughout their careers, thus, more opportunity to produce.

Defensively looks good but everyone sucked offensively which tracks’ish

Sloppy passing and unable to clear the defensive zone, everyone seemed off in intensity. Still should've been a tied game had the refs not blown that so soon but w/e.

Tampa lost and as long as we win thursday were still in good shape for the division

S happens. Got to chasing a little bit and a couple non clears led to turnovers that they cashed in. Didn’t think we played too bad but we definitely coughed up terrible pucks.

Glad losing a 2 goal lead late to lose happened now, the guys will learn from it.

Eh, thjey just won six in a row and have the opportunity to play Toronto coming up, I don't think it's that bad from a strategic standpoint. But it was an ugly, ugly third period. They just packed it in and quit playing for ten minutes.

Panthers were playing like they were well aware that they absorbed the soul of the bruins- and to thank them- gave a half ass effort this one time. Bruins fans can thank the Panthers for feeling good today. It was our way of saying thx for letting us steal and retire your heroes and dreams over the years. But this is all you will get. One march win. Lmao. This is your cup.

The last time I was let down this hard was when I was watching PornHub and my internet went down when the bad guy was getting what he deserved.

That was 100% an unexpected result, it was a team loss.
