I really, really hope you're right. As down as I am on the team right now, they're still in position to turn it around, just need to actually string together some wins. I'd love nothing more than for Bob to play like he did down the stretch last season, and that'd probably be enough.
I didn't watch the games or highlights from this weekend, so no idea what you're talking about

Next 4- Pens, Bruins, Devils x 2

Sasha, Bob, and Ek had a good game. Stronger competition ahead but hopefully they all can string together some good games.

Barkov has also looked like Barkov again. Probably took a toll on him. Can only hope the team gets healthy again and puts us back into position

Except Vasy. That guy is never sick. Is he a bot?
Has he ever been human?

The last game threads have been pretty much dead, including the losses. I think it's a combination of the team being bad in demoralizing fashion + also tonight's game was on ESPN+ where you have to deal with horrible streaming service workaround bullshit + the truly dire announcing.

That's a good point. I've hated the games being on ESPN

In Finland boards like this were most busy back in the days when games where only on text-tv. Hence, the reason isn't stream quality. I am blaming Facebook.

Not a fun game, but a great result. It seems puck luck was on our side tonight, which is always nice.

That's definitely a broader trend on the internet, but it's definitely been noticeable here, you can just look at the gameday threads from last season and even earlier this season compared to the last few, and especially this one

I have found myself deleting posts because I was being too negative and I don't want it to get that depressing here.

Sooo Lundell was sick and now his upper body injury isn't day to day. You can't make this stuff up

Tonight exhibited what I love and hate about Bob.

I love that he can be this good.

I hate that he has been bad and can be so bad when he can be this good.

i know i'm in the minority but to me it's pretty clear - when we either play well defensively or face a weaker offensive opponent, the chances against are more manageable and both goalies look very good. both goalies have had games where SP is well below .900 and both have had great games.

i acknowledge bob has had some games where he allowed what looked like stoppable goals. knight has as well but perhaps fewer. this can be true while still considering that in the bigger picture, inconsistent team defense, poor puck management, etc. were much larger factors in the result.

There we go. That will fix his bustness

I'm not sure who he's with before, but this is a big time Russian player agent in the game.
He had to come over from Russia, deal with the lost season due to covid, as well as lost half a season due to a broken knee cap ( under a year ago.)
Hopefully things start to turn around for him. Far from a bust in my mind.

With all the dead and injured bodies piling up, it's time for backup

I think it has more to do with the fact most of people who posted here for ages are old now and have too much shit going on there life that they dont post on boards anymore.
I think most younger people dont even know about boards they just use there apps now. So we dont get any new people in

Were a dying breed

By the looks of it he'll be heading to surgery in few weeks

The Lundell thing is so weird man, had a 1, max 2 game injury, got sick, recovered, and now is out long term with the injury that was supposed to be 1-2 games?

I would go back to Knight tomorrow even though Bob's been fine.
