Bob needed this and Bob was very good. The team sucked ass in the first 2 periods and was great in the 3rd. Still saw a lot of shit I didn’t like but they won. Now there is some tough teams coming up.

Once Tierney went down he was the odd man out with White already out also. PM wasnt going to give him many shifts after that. Quiet game for sure other then setting up Staal on that PP where he wiffed on the one-timer. Want him to get a few games in hopefully.

I know a bunch of people here will just be all like "no excuses!!", but I'm guessing if Barkov, Knight, Lundell and now Verhaeghe has/had some sort of non-Covid illness, some of the other guys are probably dealing with it too.

Probably influenza virus. Barkov got pneumonia but it's caused by something and when so many players get ill in December, it's probably influenza. Normal flu doesn't cause pneumonia.

I really, really hope you're right. As down as I am on the team right now, they're still in position to turn it around, just need to actually string together some wins. I'd love nothing more than for Bob to play like he did down the stretch last season, and that'd probably be enough.
