If the Leafs win in overtime or a shootout, does it count? Is it not as good as a "real" win? So much drama!
They gain 2 points but give up 1 to a divisional rival. So, no it's not as good as a reg win.

Surprised you didn't know that

I've always hated that "we played last night" excuse...Sometimes you continue that momentum from previous game and so it can work for you.

Good to know that we are now discounting two points because another team got one point. I guess the Leafs will just have to win in regulation.

Florida's first goal is the reason why I am against giving Nylander over 10 million dollars. That was a pathetic effort.

I am beyond sick of watching our team being pushed around by the welfare divas of the NHL. Is there any backbone or semblance of pride/ego in MLSE? They can't be happy being Bettman's piggybank while being laughed at by the rest of the NHL, can they?

I remember the early 2000s when Quinn's team's embraced the fact they were one of the most disliked teams in the league... What happened to this us vs the world mentality?

What a f***ing joke of a non call there. We need to get physical in thoae situations

Not a big a deal against a Western Conference team, or a little less important against a Metro Division opponent.

But gaining 2 full points against a divisional rival is better than just gaining 1

For 13.5M, he needs to drive any line he's put on

He did when he came in. He actually developed bad habits when paired with Marner. To his credit, Marner got the puck to him in ways that made his life easier than he had it with Nylander. Nylander was constantly driving him to keep up the pace which was more healthy development. That was my observation.
