I gotta put this one on Rod. He should have hit the blender button after 7 periods of hockey where we didn’t generate any 5v5 goals. Now we’ve got one in 11 periods of hockey, and it was by a freaking defensemen.

Brindy has got to make adjustments quicker to get this team sparking. Hope we see some new lines to start next game.

there isnt much bob luck though. we are putting the puck where he can get to it. Add in their defense and forwards are doing the things you need to win games. Our guys arent.

I don’t understand why no lines were adjusted when nothing was working in the last half? Some of the ones used in the winning regular season - in which the players already had familiarity? The coaching has to bear some of the responsibility at times, too, in these playoff losses.

My heart is broken for this loss. At the same time, get the **** out of here with the talk of rebuilding the team. The Canes are outplaying the Panthers. We look damn good out there. Bob is playing better than Sorokin and the Panthers are a damn good team. I'm proud of the effort. Both of these games the Canes played extremely, extremely well. It's weird because the Panthers just feel like they are destined to win it all, and that's about 75% because of Bob.

Fundamental changes are needed. Going to be some tough conversations and personnel decisions in the near future.

Or maybe we just get lucky and have a fully healthy team. I can think of 2 players in the pressbox that probably move the needle on this series.

Rod made a bad decision inserting TT too soon. You don't win a series and start plugging in ineffective (even when healthy) players.

Don’t care. I’m tired of his constant disappearing acts against teams who play tight defensive games. (BOS, TB, FLA etc.).

He’s the easiest “star” player to completely take out of a game, and we can’t even use the matchup excuse because we’re at home.
