Anything other than being the tippy top of the league will seem like a disappointment, but it really shouldn’t be.

I think the main thing is the East is garbage. Avs, Oilers, Knights, Stars all look like wagons. Hell even the Jets and Wild look good. Meanwhile in the East, full credit to the Caps but does anyone think that team is a threat? Carolina? Toronto? Lol.

i think most of the east is coasting rn except the caps, who have something to prove.

Well, NJ fans and team are easy material, talk about low hanging fruit, or taking candy from a kid.

Actually why do people say “as easy as taking candy from a kid”? That’s f***ing hard. Kids will hang onto that lollipop with all they’ve got while screaming to high heaven. Not. Easy. Even Ekblad won’t succeed.

I’ve also heard people say “as easy as taking candy from a baby”. That would be easy, I admit, but it’s totally f***ing idiotic, babies don’t eat candy. Some of the shit people say should cause public humiliation.
