The biggest difference between this year and last year is expectations. We now expect good things and success, as opposed to being convinced we are a cursed franchise that is destined to fail. Anything other than being the tippy top of the league will seem like a disappointment, but it really shouldn’t be.

The team is fine, guys. Take a breath and just enjoy the hockey. If they miss the playoffs, then we can panic.
