I mean can't be completely mad at this game, but would have been nice to get that solid extra point.

OT had chances and just reversing the SO curse would have been extremely welcome.

We ain't catching the caps any time soon unless they start to hit a dip.

At this point it's a matter of just getting 2nd. 1st always seemed like a longshot to me given we don't string together wins and this stretch has made it a lot more difficult to accomplish the longshot.

I'm pretty sure his shot sucks now. It happens to older players. Sometimes a bit older Dougie, but sometimes at Dougie's age. I knew we weren't gonna ever get another 20 goal season out of him, but his goal scoring ability is next to nothing and I don't think it's luck. At least not for the most part. The decline is real.

And everything else? Just not good enough.

I think 3v3 OT is very random and we are talking about small samples sizes even over three years.

They got some good looks that didn’t go in. Approach was better, though Jack needs to be more careful with the puck

Yeah, they looked fine tonight. The Jack turnover to the slot is proof that they're still in Lindy system thinking with being full pedal to the gas. He's been bad in the OT and you're not winning OT if your superstar doesn't look good

Canes and NJ been basically mimicking each other in every ten gm stretch this season. NJ just has to keep grinding this current stretch.

Hopefully we can take advantage of the home heavy end to the season we have after the tournament break

Thought they played a fine game considering they're clearly sick and they were missing an important piece to the PP. Hopefully they rest a bit.

Probably not as bad as Jack's, who must be nearly Henrique, Palmieri bad.

I'm not sure if Henrique and Palmieri are still really bad at the shootout, but they were really bad at it here. They had a lot of opportunities for guys who were really bad at it.

Henrique and palms hit quite a rut here in the SO, I remember the coaches kept trotting them out. Lol.

Glad Keefe went with cotter though, that was definitely the right call.

Team needs to try a few other guys. Is Luke any good?
