If I had to guess, some of it probably has to do with them being told to be a bit tougher on chances against. Lindy's system was a car crash waiting to happen with either a goal for or against happening quick in OT. Also, gotta remember that Jack was piss poor in OT last year too.
That was probably his best attempt, he just missed it. Someone finally told him he can’t go in slow. I suspect he will be better moving forward.

I hate to bitch about the shootout, but he's no good in the shootout either.
I didn't see his percentage, but it can't be good.
Probably not as bad as Jack's, who must be nearly Henrique, Palmieri bad.
I'm not sure if Henrique and Palmieri are still really bad at the shootout, but they were really bad at it here. They had a lot of opportunities for guys who were really bad at it.
I mean we're 1-4 in games decided in OT and then 1 for 6 when it comes to winning in OT. That's sucking.

Hey guys, new Panthers fan here (only been watching since about April 2023). These games were so fun this year and I really enjoyed your fans coming to our board after the November games so I hope it's ok I post here! What a hard fought game with your team coming out swinging with all you got in our last match of the season! too bad we won't have 1 final match after this! See you in the playoffs hopefully. PS, that Kurtis MacDermid sure was scary, looking forward to seeing more of him.

We do have secondary scoring. 8 guys have like 10 goals. But yes. We need a 3C and maybe a top 6 winger if possible (unlikely) and everything will then fall into place

I think 3v3 OT is very random and we are talking about small samples sizes even over three years.
They got some good looks that didn’t go in. Approach was better, though Jack needs to be more careful with the puck

We will forever pay for the sin of being automatic in the shootout in 2012 with Kovy, Zach and Patty.
