Michkov is nice but I still have to see what Reinbacher can do. If he can make an impact like Hutson, we are fn set.
I agree…..I’m not throwing my hat on Michkov ring until I see Reinbacher play. I’ve noticed Michkov hasn’t scored much lately and seems to be a -something every night. Plus, we have enough small players. I’m very glad with who we have…..Demidov and hopefully a healthy Reinbacher.

May the name MICHKOV no longer be brought up here to make us feel badly. So shall it be written, so shall it be done.

I feel the same but I'm going to get a 91 next year I've never been this excited for a Habs forward prospect my only jersey until now are a couple of Price ones
Demidov will also be amazing, can’t go wrong with either! I’ll probably end up getting his jersey too at some point.

My last one is a Cammalleri, got it like 6 months before he got traded lol. Then I took a break and lost so much interest during the Bergevin years I never bought another.

I didn't watch the game (too late), I looked at the score before going to bed and I told myself Habs would win with 5 goals., they only had 1 at the time.

Something is not right with management if they don't replace Pezz for the next game.
Or it's all according to the plan and the Habs are winning too much right now. Forcing MSL to use Pezz is a way to try to slow them down.

Didn’t Newhook get a really nice assist on Laine’s goal, hit the post on the PP, and just missed a couple of other chances?

This board is so weird once it designates a whipping boy. Like folks simply become unable to see any nuance in a game
Considering he was sick, I thought he had one of his best games of the season to be honest!

What happened to X icetime? Results of his 10 min penalty and lots of speciality team? Hopefully not injured! I missed the second and third

Good night everyone, sweet (Habs) dreams.

I believe that it's meant to be
And it feels a little like '93
With failing hands we hold it high
And raise number 25 to the sky
I believe we're right in the mix and it
Feels a little like '86
With failing hands we hold it high
And raise number 25 to the sky
It's funny. Your post has me imagining you on your knees next to your bed reciting this.

Our Americans (Lane and Caufield) beat their Americans (Cooley and Keller). While Canada will never become the 51st state, the Americans are steadily taking over our game.
Funny you should mention Lane & Caufield and the 51st state. Both those players have Canuck parents. Maybe that's how Canada will become the 51st state - by immigrating.

Oh, how did Newhook and Slaf play? Visible? Invisible?
Newhook has found himself a role on this Habs team. He's going to be the old Lehkonen. I think he played well except for missing on 3-4 glorious chances.

My favorite was when people were like "he's on pace for -42 for the season!". Pace on +/- is so dumb. He was "on pace for -42", but after tonight he's at -4, and chances are he'll finish the years in the + considering it's steadily been going up for a while.
Aren't several of those minuses empty net goals? Thought I read something like -7 of them?

The Newhook pass to Laine wasn't invisible

And he was set up for two prime scoring chances but didn't convert. He could have ended the night with 2 goals and an assist. Even if he didn't score, he was at the right spot at the right time, a skill in itself. Not bad for a guy who was playing sick and wasn't a guarantee to play.
