Goldie tried his best to jinx it before the game. But it didn't take. San Jose came out playing the best they could, and Florida weathered the storm. And it was over after that, thankfully.
Mackie is clearly one of our better offensive players, and overall players. I don't know the rookie points leaders, but would love if he got into that calder race.
Overall this was a game where things came together finally. Nice change of pace from having a fair amount of annoyance throughout the game.

Samoskevich in a weird spot right now where he's doing a lot of things right, looks great, is creating plays and opportunities, responsible defensively... and just not putting the puck in the net (the thing we were hoping to get more than anything from him). Hopefully, he'll score some facking goals.

Can't really remember his draft pedigree as I don't watch a lot of NCAA or follow it as much as CHL.
