I first started watching hockey in the 2001-02 season. Being in the USA, at the time, pretty much every NHL playoff game was on ESPN or ESPN2 at the time. I took a particular liking to the Habs for no apparent reason those playoffs.

I didn't discover online streams until 2011, and didn't join HF until 2012, but the Habs section always intimidated me so I didn't come here at first. I bought GCL this season, and discovered watching the Habs on RDS. That sucked me in even more than I already was.

I can't make sense of it, but starting from last year's playoffs until now, I can't help but be invested in the team emotionally. Can't make sense of emotions, right?

That's really awesome. Honestly from reading your posts, you've seemed like a more intelligent poster than many people here. Glad you're not intimidated anymore. Being addicted to this team is very easy, and hard to shake.

I hope Emelin gets chosen for the Russian team and Therrien can see him being used on his natural side. For the life of me I don't understand why Therrien refuses to give him a chance on his side.
