Does anyone remember what an easy game is?
We're gonna be battling the leafs for the 8th spot. They made it this far by handling the easy games, we're in this mess because easy games don't exist for us

.........and the Canes, Jets, Devils. We should make it.:sarcasm:

I dont know how long i can watch this type of hockey. Jebus. Tweak the frickin system already.

Lets talk about Richards backchecking on the second goal. And by backchecking I mean that time where Florida crashed the net and Richards stayed ten feet behind doing nothing.

Not only is this bum playing badly. He plays like he doesn't give a ****. You can rip Del Zotto all you want, he deserves it a lot of the time, but he always plays hard. Richards is taking a paycheck and planning what he's going to do after the game. **** him. If we can't trade him (unlikely for various reasons, all of them obvious), buy him out in the summer. I don't care.

Great. Now this offense will get even worse when Nash is suspended.

Kronwall's hit last night was worse. No suspension for him.

I thought we played well, we were just fairly unlucky. Two of those bounces that laid in the crease for seconds at a time go in and we talk about how the 3-2 score doesn't reflect how badly we dominated them.

Some of you guys need a reality check. Not everyone played well, but we were hungry on the puck and we exposed their bad defense.

Disgrace. Nothing more needs to be said.

Though it really pisses me off a dive that led to a PP ended up really messing up the chance of the team winning.

The Good: Jesper Fasth can now come to North America this season if he pleases.
The Bad: The Rangers
The Ugly: The Rangers

That is all.

Richards looked lost on that play, but look at it again. Del Zotto was there too. Nobody did much.

I don't know how you can blame coaching on this one, we had plenty of chances, our players just can't finish. It's a lack of talent and chemistry.

I'm mostly just disinterested right now. Occasionally I decide to muster up some care, and I'm just constantly rewarded with a game like tonight. It's too hard to actively follow. I'll still cheer for the team, NYC's in my blood, but I'm not gonna continue to support this group right now. I hope they make the playoffs, and I hope they do some damage, but I don't believe in it and I'm unwilling to watch the journey.

That was a true 3 line game from Tortorella. Hagelin is going to need an ice bath, he played Kovalchuk minutes today.

18 games to play. 10 wins is no promise of the playoffs. NYR will likely have to win 12 to get in comfortably.

You don't pull the ****ing goalie when you're only down one on a POWER PLAY!!! The opposing team Can shoot at the empty net from anywhere on the ice and not have to worry about icing! For **** sakes

Okay and that expose led to one goal, on a majority effort by one guy splitting the D.

What good is "exposing" the defense if you AREN'T GOING TO SCORE GOALS!?!??!

Agreed. Don't even get me started on the "45 SOG". Those were the worse shots I have ever seen in my life. All of them but 1 or 2 from the outside. I bet if Richards was on another team with an actual offensive system he would have 30 points right now. This coach does NOT know how to use his players/ personnel.

Get rid of Richards to spark this team. Let's get a little younger, no more overpaid veterans.

Who gives a **** at this point

This is not a team issue.

44 shots to, what, 23. The effort and the skill is there.

It really has become a coaching issue at this point. When the team was losing to Pittsburgh, Winnipeg, etc, the effort and skill wasn't there...but, tonight, it was, and they still lost to an inferior team. This was an extremely winnable game.

Lundqvist giving up a soft goal doesn't help. The Panthers controlled play for maybe 5 minutes in that entire game. The Rangers had the puck 90% of the time. Lundqvist can't be giving up goals like that when the Rangers are playing as well as they were.

Just a deflating, disappointing loss when we needed a win the most.

We dominated them but just couldn't score. It's better than the games where we can't even establish any offensive pressure that we were playing a few games ago.

I would agree with you if this was an isolated incident, but this team does the same crap over and over.
