You are right and wrong at the same time. Both Navalny fans and so-called "patriots" live in a bubble and interact mostly inside their ecochambers.

In fact, the biggest part of russian demographics dislikes "ER" party(Putins party) and feels skeptical about Putin himself, but at the same time doesn't idolize Navalny and is kinda skeptical about him aswell. And yes, people under 40, esp in big cities are the least supportive group for Putin.
