To be fair the Sabres have three elite Left shot D, and they all have a lot of value. Moving one of those three would be trading from a position of strength. Really, if they want to improve, they need to move the one out of this three who returns the best players to help them in their weaker positions. Likely that’s Power.

Not great sources, but Nashville media guy saying Trotz has been pushing for Cozens before tonight.

Also a poster in Preds land that has an in with the team that is verifying there is a lot of smoke/traction to this.

Buffalo needs a #2 centre. Especially if moving out Cozens who’s really their only current option. McLeod sucks. Kulich might be the long term solution but needs development time. Nashville doesn’t have anyone who fits that bill. ROR won’t be the guy.
